Hello. My name is Jason Wright and I am Thermostat Mechanical for now. I intend to grow my company to include employees once I am able to develop a protocol or standard set of procedures and policies to insure cost effectiveness, superior working environment and above all quality workmanship. I will not intrust your repair or project to another unless I know they will provide an equal or greater level of performance as myself.
Born in 1969, I haved lived in Bloomington all of my life. I have always had an interest in all things mechanical and electrical. I discovered how to use a screwdriver about the same time I learned how to walk. You see the baby gate was screwed into the door jam and it was in my way. Once I made this discovery I would to my mother's dismay disassemble the nearest item held together by screws. She found that Erector sets and Legos would keep me occupied for most of my single digit years. Those were favorite toys along with my electronic experiment set and TRS-80 personal computer, both from Radio Shack. Yes I have always been a nerd but I did manage to play outside more often than most kids today.
During my junior and senior year at Edgewood high school I attended Ivy Tech for a 2 year degree in the field of electronics.I also worked for my Father who was a custom home builder throughout my high school years. Upon Graduating from high school in 1989 I struck out to find a job in the electronics field. I quickly learned that entry pay as an electronics repair technician was only slightly more than than what I made at Long John Silvers when I was 17. This came as a complete shock and I got my first real taste of the upside down pay structure of corporate America. Fortuantly I found work with a local electrical and HVAC company making several more dollars on the hour than I was offered by the few electronic shops that were around at that time. I was hired as an electrician but helped with HVAC jobs when the HVAC side needed help. Within 2 years I was working as a service technician for both the electric and HVAC departments. I worked for this company and a couple of other local companies until December of 2003. I started Thermostat Mechanical January 2004. 2004 was a big year. I married my wonderful wife, Lauree. Without her support I would probably not be in business today.
As I stated before I am my only employee that means I have to perform every function required in order to provide my customers with superior products, services and information. At the same time I must plan for the future. I want to insure that I can provide a performance oriented culture for my employees when the that time comes. I don't believe this can happen without preparation and planning. Potential employees will be tested and placed accordingly.
